AromaWhips is a small business based in Southern California. It's founder & CEO, Lisa Frances, was inspired by a desire to find the best ingredients to hydrate and moisturize her own hair and skin. During her personal natural hair journey, Ms. Lisa, as she's so affectionately called, researched various plants, butters and oils. Disillusioned and disheartened by the plethora of costly haircare and skincare products that did not provide the desired results and lacked natural ingredients, Ms. Lisa set out on a mission. Encouraged by a coworker's suggestion to implement natural ingredients into her beauty regimen, Ms. Lisa experimented with different recipes. Once she discovered the right combination to achieve the desired results, she began sharing her finished product with friends and family. "Every one who has tried my whipped shea butter can't get enough of it," Ms. Lisa proudly states. Over and over again, she has heard testimonials from family members, friends and customers who continue to rave about her products for use on their face, body and hair (from kinky/curly to straight; natural styles to weaves/wigs). Ms. Lisa is eager to share AromaWhips to help others achieve optimum hydration and moisture from head to toe. "I firmly believe that hydration and moisture retention don't have to be difficult or expensive." She transitioned from relaxed hair utilizing various braid, weave and wig styles. She has worn her hair exclusively in its natural state since August 2010, preferring two-strand twists and twist out styles. She describes her hair as 'a combination of textures and porosity', but identifies mostly with 4C low porosity hair. Ms. Lisa was born and raised, and is currently living in Southern California. She devotes much of her time to the public ministry. She has even dedicated over five years to foreign language studies in an effort to expand her ministerial work. Although English is her first language, Ms. Lisa also speaks Italian, and bits & pieces of the following: Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Russian and Spanish. Her hobbies include reading, music appreciation, traveling and collecting rare Disney memorabilia.
