Meet our Founder, Angela Fields I'd been experiencing too many allergic reactions on my skin and my dermatologist wanted me to re-do my allergy and patch testing. The allergy test results didn't change much but OMG the patch test results did! I'm allergic to fragrance! Wait! What? Isn't fragrance in everything? Well, almost! Seriously 96-98% of hair care is fragranced! Yet 36 million are allergic to fragrance! I'd already decided to transition to my natural hair texture. And all I could find was fragranced hair care products. It was so frustrating! I even shopped in Canada and Europe. I found better options there but I still wasn't satisfied. I was already frustrated. Then I got mad. And then I got busy. I got busy buying raw ingredients and making hair care products in my kitchen. I'd try a formula and if I didn't like it I'd try another. And another. And another. Until I found my holy grail. I did this for about a year before I even thought about launching my hair care brand. I decided to launch as I knew I wasn't the only person living like this. I knew others were just as frustrated as me, if not more. Everybody should have options! Amazing options! Since I launched in 2015 it's been an insightful journey full of entrepreneurial, business and personal growth!
