Hey y'all! Welcome to The Tee Affect. My name is Tyler Anderson, Founder and Hair Stylist of TTA and it is a pleasure to welcome you into TTAFam. I am 21 years old and a true Capricorn, whoot whoot. I am currently an employed, full-time college student. I am studying Business Administration with a concentration in Management. I am a black woman, a student leader, natural inspo, dancer, believer, lover, and a huge foodie. I come from a Barbadian mother and a Jamaican father. With the background of both beautiful countries, I am well rounded, well respected, well cultured, and most importantly well aware of my beauty in it's most natural state. THE BIRTH OF TTA TheTeeAffect has been a dream of mine since I was in high school. Although I've always did my friends and dollies hair, what sparked my passion for natural hair was the transitioning period from a perm to my natural 4c hair right before high school began. After I chopped my hair off, I immediately grew this love and confidence in who I was and what I represent. I wasn't sure how I could project this love and light to others but then it finally clicked on September 23rd, 2019. The birth of my first born, TTA. I officially started doing natural hair for both men and women as an official business. Of course this was an amazing start but it wasn't enough for me. I began to come up with more ways I can encourage people to choose this lovely natural lifestyle. I started to research the products I use on my skin, hair, and body. The news was so heartbreaking that I had to do something about it. I started to make everything that I used on myself and even my clients. From my hair oils, to my body shimmers. I figured this is something I can share with the world so I invested in that specifically. On February 10th, 2020, the birth of my second born TTA Natural Hair and Body Care Products consisted of Beard Balm, Hair Oil, and Body Shimmer. Now just a few months later, I am proud to say that I've branched out to a shampoo, leave-in conditioner, hair butter/body butter, body oil, and so much more. The story of Vegan Skin begins when Founder and C.E.O. Paul Joseph was just 17 years old. From this time until he was 23, Paul was plagued with boils that developed in the trunk area of his body that no doctor could explain. After six years and over 25 surgeries, dermatologists were stumped for answers. Paul tried his luck again at Tufts University while enrolled in graduate school, teaming up with a group of Nurse Practitioners in the student health center dedicated to studying the pathology of his symptoms. In the Spring of 2007, he was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa, a rare, autoimmune, disease that affects approximately 1-2% of the population in America and possibly abroad. There is no cure or effective medical treatment for the disease. As a degenerative disease, it also worsens over time. As Paul progressed through his twenties, the disease continuously spread until it eventually colonized half of his body; he was covered in boils from the waist down. On the eve of his 30th birthday, he contemplated ending his own life as a result of the pain and discomfort he was experiencing. It was in that moment when he realized that if there were no products on the market that existed for his unique skin condition, he would have to create them. Guided by the research question,“How did our human ancestors take care of themselves before modern medicine and technology?” Paul got to work and created three signature products that not only began revitalizing his own skin, but also the skin and scalps of his friends and family members. Before long, subscribers from his Facebook support group who’d been following his journey began reaching out to purchase the products only to experience life-changing results. It became Paul’s mission to be at the forefront of the new era in natural skincare products and is the reason Vegan Skin is 100% committed to maintaining a clean and conscious brand.

Well Fed Apothecary is an e-commerce site immersing the use of herbal preparations and wellbeing. Bridging the gap between scared indigenous knowledge and the modernized technological functionality of our world. The goal is to expand community outreach through sacred plant medicine. Outsourcing through local communities and across the Caribbean; building sustainable jobs of farming and cultivating crop for healing. We formulated our plant-based hair product called 3-in-1 Hair and Scalp: Detangle, Condition + Grow out of necessity to help manage my daughters' hair who both have sensitive eczema prone skin.
