The vision and vibes of EPIC EVERYDAY, Inc. are part of a family-owned black business! The birth of EPIC EVERYDAY occurred during a discussion between two moms, that are sisters, and proud HBCU grads. Cara, Jenae, and their spouses recognized the extreme lack of diverse product representation highlighting minority children, and the need to enhance visibility and inclusion. The founders attended HBCUs (Morgan State. North Carolina A&T, and Jackson State) undergrad and PWIs (James Madison, Christian Brothers, and U of Toledo) for advanced STEM and business degrees. They also represent the Divine Nine. These changemakers wanted their children to thrive full of confidence and made a conscientious decision to design a positive self-reflection collection to inspire the next generation. Whimsical Happy Hues Collection designs were launched with love for all mocha skin shades, hairstyles, and textures. EPIC EVERYDAY inspires the young and young at heart to feel empowered, positive, innovative and creative! We want to change the narrative for younger generations to celebrate self-love and take up space with confidence. We continually cultivate collaborative partnerships with organizations that promote self-esteem, self-empowerment, and self-worth via educational and health-related initiatives targeting minority children. Hi There, I'm Rachel and I recently launched Butler and Blakely, a gift and home line inspired by my parents. Butler is my dad's middle name and Blakely is my mom's family name. I was first inspired by textiles and fabrics when I was a little girl and couldn’t help but be inspired by my mother’s ability to sew and my father who worked in the textile industry. 
 I think my love affair with fabric started with a pair of green plaid pants my mom made for me when I was in first grade. Since then, I've always been involved with design in some form. After working as a graphic designer for a few years, I studied textile design and the idea for Butler & Blakely was born, a gift & home accessories line. At Butler and Blakely each collection is infused with exuberant colors and fabrics that will recharge any room and evoke inspiration. Our mission is to provide beautiful products designed with eclectic patterns and color combinations. Each collection reflects a different part of the Butler & Blakely story and we hope that you'll make our textiles and accessories part of your story too. We want you to love the space you’re in.

Berwick “Underscore” Augustin was born in Port Au Prince Haiti and raised in the Little Haiti’s section of Miami, FL. His literary work is a sponge that has been soaked with a strong blend of culture and spirituality. He is an author, speaker, spoken word artist, playwright, and educator. He has spent over a decade educating the next generation as a teacher and administrator. His vast array of experiences have afforded him a world of nuances to write culturally vivid stories with impactful life lessons. Mr. Augustin's pen took a right turn into the world of children's books once he began to have children of his own. Among his most recent books are The 1803-Haitian Flag and Black Freedom bilingual Series with accompanying curriculum workbooks (K-12), which are all written in English and Haitian-Creole. His latest book, The Lord's Prayer, is set to be launched on September 2020 and is currently available for pre-order on his website berwickaugustin.com. He is the brainchild behind the two literary and performing arts companies Evoke180 and Native Legacy.
