My name is Michael De Los Santos or Mike D hence the name. Mike D's BBQ is an award winning line of signature BBQ sauces and all-purpose dry rubs. Our sauces are a twist on the traditional BBQ sauce with some unique seasonings and spice levels. A core ingredient of our BIG Sauce is our all-purpose dry rub which is great with beef, pork, any bird, or vegetable. Our Sweet and Spicy rub is the heart of our Spicy BBQ Sauce. Whether you are in your kitchen, backyard grilling, or smoking our sauces and rubs are the perfect flavor compliment by not overpowering the natural flavor of the meat or vegetables. This business is the result of a long process of refining my sauces and rubs to meet my desired flavor and then share it with the world. I am a BBQ junkie, and was intrigued by the various sauces and rubs on the market. I eventually decided that to find what I thought was the perfect combination of sweet, smoky, and a little bite, I would need to create my own! Since then, we have seen all of our products win awards, including a World Champion for our all purpose rub! We have shipped products to all 50 states and 5 countries. Exciting for the growth ahead!

Founded by a mother and daughter duo from Trinidad and Tobago, Camella’s Kitchen is helping you to elevate your meals at home and on the go with our bold Caribbean flavors – we ship. We started Camella's Kitchen in order to honor the memory of and carry on lessons learned from Ms. Camella, our mother and grandmother respectively. She taught us all that we know about making Caribbean food, and aim to follow in her footsteps to share our bold flavors with our community in the Washington, DC metro area and beyond. All of our flavors are handcrafted in small batches – we make hot sauce, marinade, spices, cakes and more. All of our sauces are gluten-free and vegan. Some items include our pepper sauce and spicy mango chutney. Our island herb blend also makes a great all-purpose marinade – it is also known as Caribbean green seasoning, sofrito, or epis. We are based in Philadelphia, PA and ship nationwide. This phase of  our store is online, and only features  shelf-stable food items, and household products supplied by BIPOC-owned companies that can be delivered directly to customers. In 2021 we will begin shipping perishable products as well! All brands included on the platform are carefully selected and curated to uphold quality standards and appropriate product category distribution. We are creating a platform that will empower consumers to strategically shop exclusively with BIPOC owned brands, and establish a lasting partnership with suppliers.   This is a key way for under-represented communities to keep resources "flowing," create jobs, and reclaim their stake in the food industry.

My name is Raphael and I'm the owner of Naija Grille Spice Mix. Naija Grille Spice has the perfect blend of Heat and Flavor in an all purpose seasoning. I was inspired to start this business by my love for grilling and the positive feedback i got from anyone that tried food i cooked using the home made spice mix.

For those who haven't had it, mambo sauce is considered "the official wing sauce of Washington, DC." This black-owned business has its base in the Maryland suburbs. Its was founded by the Arsha and the late Charles Jones. Arsha was born and raised in Washington, DC and began to miss this sauce she grew up with when she moved to the suburbs. She wanted to give her family a real taste of DC. She started making mambo sauce in her kitchen for her boys and decided that she could market and sell it. The Jones family has grown this home-based business into a successful company. They're happy to offer a favorite product from their childhood to more people around the world.
